Jay Tigner: Pastor Contact Pastor Pastor Jay is finishing up his studies at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in November 2007. He and His wife, Mary Jane, have been married and serving the Lord together for 12 years now and are really excited about being a part of the great things that God has in store at Finchville Baptist Church. Pastor Jay loves being a follower of Jesus and living according to His teachings. He believes that Jesus is the answer for all people and is devoted to sharing the story of Jesus with all people.	Tyler Canup: Youth & Children Minister Contact Tyler and his wife, Carrie have joined Finchville Baptist November 2007. Tyler is also a student at a local college and Carrie is a nanny. They are originally from northern Georgia. Both are very excited to have joined us and are looking forward to making the children's and youth program really great.	Ron Cheak: Music Minister Contact Ron brings excitement back into music ministry. His high standards of excellence are obvious when the choir sings. Ron's wife Nancy, is also a musician and a wonderful singer.


Pastor Emeritus: Dr. Wayne Ward Contact Dr. Ward and his wife Mary Ann came to Finchville in 1948 as pastor and led the building (literally) of the educational building behind the sanctuary. In 1953 he joined the permanent faculty at Southern Baptist Seminary and remained there to his retirement. During his ministry, Dr. Ward has maintained his close ties with Finchville as a member, a messenger, and a dear, close friend.	Nursery Leader: Peggy Wilson Peggy is a long time resident of Finchville and grandmother who joined our staff in 2006. She is a welcome addition to the ministry here at Finchville by providing loving care for infants and toddlers.	Secretary: Bethany Marksberry Contact Bethany is our part-time secretary. When not keeping things straight at church, she is working with horses. Bethany is a graduate of Asbury College.
